Decidedly Jazz
Decidedly Jazz is Canada’s premier jazz dance company, producing live dance performances and theatrical dance events for three decades. They also run Calgary’s largest recreational dance school, with more than 70 classes each week, for children as young as 2 years of age – right up to experienced dancers of any age.
Their professional eight-month intensive training program is second to none – and is aimed at developing the skills and knowledge of jazz dance artists. Decidedly Jazz is dedicated to exploring, evolving and promoting the art of jazz dance within the global community.
To this end, they have begun building work on an international jazz dance centre in Calgary. Costing $25 million CAD, funding has been provided by the City of Calgary, the Government of Alberta and the Government of Canada Department of Canadian Heritage.
